  • Frogs are the most endangered group of vertebrates (animal with a backbone) in the entire world!

 

  • A third of all species are currently listed as threatened!

 

  • Habitat destruction is the main threat facing frogs. 

 

  • KwaZulu-Natal is home to 6 endangered frog species!

Frogging Evenings!

 

Spend an evening looking for KwaZulu Natal's amazing and beautiful frog species! We are lucky enough to be in the province with the highest number of frog species anywhere else in the country! Come and learn how to identify frogs and their calls, amongst the noisey chorus they make!

You will have a whole new appreciation for frogs after a frogging evening in KwaZulu-Natal!

 

You will need:

  • Gum boots

  • A torch

  • A camera (optional), to take photos of the weird an wonderful frog species!

 

 

 Frogging evenings are rain and season-dependent.

They will be held from October - March.

page.
