Nick and Joelle are a soon to be husband & wife team (currently engaged) with a passion  for nature and helping children.

Nick set up KwaZulu-Natal Amphibian & Reptile Conservation in early 2015, to create an understanding and awareness of these misunderstood animals. This is a full-time duty, which is entirely self-funded. He spends his time presenting snake awareness talks to schools, companies and communities, hosts frogging evenings, conducts research on these animals, and is better known for his snake rescue service in the Greater Durban Area.

Joelle loves animals, big, small, scaly or fluffy. She has completed a BA in English and Psychology, and a degree in Brand Leadership. Now, she co-runs KZN Amphibian & Reptile Conservation. With her long-term goal being a child psychologist and conservationist at the same time, she hopes to help children through nature, hence the Evans School of Nature!

Both have gone through incredibly difficult, dark and traumatic times, both since being together and growing up. They've fought hard to be where they are today, and have gained huge amounts of life experience, which they hope to be able to use to help others.
