Who is programme aimed at? And what age group?

The course is aimed at children who have a genuine interest in nature.

It's aimed at children who can also behave themselves!

We are, for now, aiming it at 7-13 year olds.

Does my child need to commit and attend every week?

No, it is not required. However, we do cover a different topic each week. No week will be the same! It never is in nature.

R100 per afternoon

Where is it being held?

The programme is run from the Palmiet Nature Reserve in Westville. For directions, please look on our "Contact Us" page.

What time does it start and what time does it end?

To accommodate children from senior primary schools, we will be starting at 14:30. Parents are welcome to drop off children from 14:00 onwards.

Programme ends at 17:30, but should they need to be fetched earlier, it is not an issue and we can accommodate this.

What does my child need to bring?

*Drinks and snacks will be provided, but children are welcome to bring their own

• Closed/walking shoes

• A hat and sun cream

• Rain coat if raining

• A notebook/drawing book (nature journal) with a pen/pencil is recommended

• Any medication they may need.

• A backpack, if the child likes.

An indemnity will need to be filled in and signed beforehand.
